Technesis is a bundle of software which main purpose is to reduce printing costs in a company. An app controls all printing queries in local network and gathers them on a main server, where an administrator can accept or deny the print. User gets info about decision immediately.

Our main tasks included: implementation and testing components which search printers via IP using SNMP protocol; implementation and testing a component which is responsible for gathering and visualizing data about all printers installed on a computer using Google Protobuf protocol; fixing and improving architecture for clients components; adding postmortem debug logger components which show all useful information about application crash; using WinApi to create application which connects to Windows system printer management functionality; creating a component that detects all print requests and blocks them until user accepts them.
